ARSNIC is more than just the fancy name I gave my studio. It is my creative outlet that helps keep my mind from up and leaving one day. I have my hands in all sorts of creative endeavors, mostly comics and writing these days.

I used to have a lot better web skills, but I've kinda ignored them. As such, this whole site is kind of a mess. Eventually I'll get this organized... I hope!

About the Artist

Hi. I'm Laurence and I'm an artaholic.

Wait. That's not a word? Well, hell.

It's all too easy to go on and on and on about some obscure art stuff that I might know. Just like it's a bit easy to ramble about a little too much of my personal life. Trust me, no one cars about the soymilk and bagle I just had for breakfast.

The long and the short of it is that since I was just a little pre-kindergarten child, I've always had my hands in art. I'm well-versed in ceramics (though not currently active). I'm evolving into a beter cartoonist, thanks to being a member of the Cartoonists League of Absurd Washingtonians (aka CLAW). I'm finishing my first complete novel, learning to write screenplays. I bake, build and design furniture, take too many photos and I'm an avid sidewalk chalk artist.

I can yak your ear off about this stuff, but that's no fun for either of us. Rather than that, please do click on my links at top and see the art for yourself.
